About Today's Show:Today’s interview was with Susan Roggendorf, a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in Illinois and Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Iowa. In our conversation, we talk about how Susan came to realize that she was burnt out, how that affected her mental health, and what she did to aid in her recovery from burnout. We also talked about the need to break down the archaic rules that keep us working in systems that burn us to a crisp, and about how important it is to be there for each other as colleagues in community. Essentially, we talk about how it's so important to be there for each other, and also to say, "
fuck you, fuck your rules, I'm out."
