About Today's Show:
In this week's episode of Mental Status, I sat down with Yulia Golubev, LMHC who speaks about her experiences with burnout as she navigated the ways in which her identities & background intersected with the work she was doing in the field.
Yulia explores the impact of being an immigrant to the USA and her experience of providing therapy in a place & language she did not grow up with. She discusses how her various identities impacted the work she did with mandated clients at a rehab facility in New York. Yulia is honest and transparent in sharing her stories and provides thoughtful ways of approaching this work through the lens of burnout prevention.
