About Today's Episode
In this episode, Meg talks with Felicia Keller Boyd about her journey from working as a therapist to moving into coaching other therapists through opening their own businesses. Meg and Felicia explore what it means to be a good vs. bad therapist, and Felicia talks about why she self-identifies as a "bad therapist" and wants others to do the same. Join us as we explore mindset challenges, the taboo of talking about money, the spirituality of owning your own business, and her desire to "tear it all down" when it comes to the shitty systems that keep therapists hustling, tired, exhausted, and broke.
About Today's Guest
Felicia Keller Boyle is a licensed psychotherapist, mentor, and coach. She helps therapists all over the country build thriving private practices working with clients they adore. Being a therapist doesn't need to be a hustle. There's no award for being the most burnt out therapist. Instead Felicia reimagines what it means to be a therapist through her year long practice building program, Liberated Business, which will welcome it's next cohort in January, 2022. Graduates of Liberated Business not only have the practices of their dreams but live fulfilling, joyful lives outside of work. They are more courageous and empowered, and apologizing about their deepest desires and goals is a thing of the past.
